This Kete mask previously belonged to the private collection of Penn Kent, former Director of the Bank of England. The mask features a powerful expression and striking, protruding eyes with pointed metal tips. The mask has been attractively decorated with natural pigments with designs typically found amongst the Kete and their neighbours the Kuba.
