This female figure stands in an upright position with her hands resting on her upper legs. The upper band of the figure’s skirt is adorned with circular and V-shaped decorations. The figure's head - featuring circular-shaped ears - is adorned with a sweeping, multiple-parted coiffure.
The figure has been carved from a dense brown wood, which exhibits a beautiful worn surface patina. This patina is particularly prevalent around the facial area and arms, as a result of extensive handling over time.
Estimated Period: First Half of 20th Century (1930’s – 1940’s)
