This unusual female figure is depicted standing in an upright stance, with a pair of proportionally short arms and prominent oval-shaped horizontally-slanted ears. A pinnacle-shaped coiffure crowns the top of the figure's round head.
The figure's face features a pair of white beaded eyes, and below, a larger bead has been embedded in the abdomen area. Single strands of small early glass beads hang around her neck and midriff. These wonderful artistic inclusions give the figure a unique character.
Carved from a hard wood, this figure displays an encrusted - and in parts, worn - surface patina.
