This traditional healer's neck adornment features an assortment of amulets, including animal horns wrapped in stitched leather, and an iron piece encased in reptile skin.
It is interesting to note that the neck adornment's iron amulets have been formed into shapes resembling the animal horns, which they are displayed alongside. A number of the amulets have been attached to the cord with twisted metal rings - a technique that was used in the first half of the twentieth-century.
