This nicely executed figure depicts a female standing in an upright position, with both her hands resting on her stomach in a gesture of fertility. Crowned with a prominent parted carved coiffure, the figure has been decorated with strands of tiny glass beads around its neck and stomach area. As a result of handling over time, the surface of the fertility figure exhibits a worn patina.
