A wonderful casting of a bronze finger ring surmounted by a cast from nature grasshopper. Its likely the casting was also intended to be used as a gold weight as the Akan are the only know culture who were experts in this technique of lost wax casting of insects and using them as gold weights. The casting shows all the minute details of the grasshoppers body.
