This female figure, carved from a brown hard wood, stands in an upright stance. The positioning of this figure’s arms - clasped behind her back and resting on her rear- is a defining characteristic of this piece. The figure’s face is adorned with brass tacks and small cross-shaped markings below the cheeks. Finely engraved lines decorate the surface of her carved coiffure.
