Finely carved from a dense hard wood, this small old Lozi stool consists of a circular seat and base, in which the seat is slightly larger in size than the base. Connecting the seat and base is a finely carved cross-shaped supporting structure. Over time, the seat of the stool in particular has developed a lovely dark surface patination as a result of use and handling.
