With eight short supporting legs - four on each side - this unusually-shaped, low-set stool is animal-like in form. Carved from a single piece of semi-hard brown wood, this Ethiopian stool features a slightly dish-shaped seat. Dating back to the early twentieth-century, the stool exhibits a deep, worn surface patina throughout. The piece is in good condition considering its age and wear.
