The form of this stool, consisting of three curved supporting legs, exhibits a zoomorphic, bird-like appearance. A single metal stud adorns the seat of the stool.
Three-legged stools such as this were carried over the left-hand shoulder by Lobi men while they walked. Because of this, a deeper-coloured, worn patina is particularly prevalent around the handle and seat area of the stool.
