Amulet Depicting Two Figures. Senufo Culture, Ivory Coast

This amulet, which depicts two standing figures with interlocking arms, would have served as a protective charm. Below the figures, the lower section of the amulet displays engraved decorations of triangular-shaped patterns, produced by multiple series of hatched lines. A lovely, worn patina is present on the surface of this amulet.
