Impressive and large Ethiopian chair with four splayed supporting legs.Coming from the Jinka region and typically carved from one piece of a dense heavy brown wood the surface of the chair has developed a lovely deep and glossy patina. The back rest has incised decorative markings on its front and back. Comfortable to sit in, its not common to find chairs from Ethiopia of this size, age and form.
