These three zoomorphic Ethiopian stools/headrests have each been fashioned from the light-coloured wood of tree branches or roots, and exhibit worn honey-hued surface patinas. These pieces were probably multi-functional, being used both as headrests and as low stools. Sold as a group as their animal-like forms work with each other.
