This fine 19th Century Akan bronze gold weight depicts a man standing balancing with one hand a musket on his shoulder, and in the other a large hunting knife. Tied to his back is his kill, a small antelope.
The casting is very fine in its execution and shows a lot of detail for such a small piece, specially to his body adornments and the various items he carries, including the profile of the anaimal.
