Forged from iron, this Dogon figure conveys a beautiful sense of movement. Elongated in form, the figure stands with subtly bent knees - leaning slightly backwards with an upwardly-lifting gaze. With arms positioned at each side the figure features a pair of flattened hands and exhibits an encrusted forged surface patina.
