These two finely cast bronze Yoruba figures depict a kneeling male and female. The male figure is shown with clasped hands, and the female holds an offering bowl. Both the figures are crowned with elaborate headdresses, and are adorned with representations of scarification markings. Over time, these bronze figures have developed beautifully smooth surface patinas.
