Surmounting this tall Luguru title staff is a finely carved standing female figure with neck and arm adornments, depicted in an upright stance with her hands positioned by her waist. The body of the figure exhibits a beautiful interplay of contrasting scorched and natural wooden surfaces, and the female's skirt features wonderful cross-hatch decorations. Over time, the surface of the staff has developed a lovely worn, shiny patina.
