This fine Nyamwezi comb has a beautiful worn and glossy surface patina. The body of the comb displays a pair of breasts surrounded on its flat surface by a series of engraved zig zap and cross hatch decorations. It features a elongated neck with a finely carved female head. The features of the head are well worn where it has been handled and used over time with a section of the side of head showing a scorched blackened surface.
