This fine Nyamwezi comb has a beautiful worn and glossy surface patina. The body of the comb display a pair of breasts surrounded by a series engraved zig zap and cross hatch decorations. It features a elongated neck with a finely carved female head. The features of the head are well worn where it has been handled and used over time with part of the head showing a scorched blackened surface.
Estimated Period: Mid 20th Century or Before.
