This early Duala title stool displays a beautiful form, consisting of a elegantly curved seat above an open-work support structure featuring at the base four geometric box-like formations. Above and on either side of the stool are two curved upright supports and at the centre are two hornbill birds positioned with their beaks touching.
There is evidence that a pillow cushioning was once attached to the seats curved surface with small parts of the metal tacks still visible.
