This is one of the nicest Ashante stools that I have seen in a long time. The stool has a beautiful form with splayed double-sided X-shaped abstract supports, holding a curved seat with a deep glossy surface patina. However, what sets this stool apart is the fine decorations covering the surface of the seat and each of the supports. These decorations can be seen in the photos on the slideshow.
The stool has a rich patina and is in good overall condition.
