A fine early Kamba mother and Child figure. The mother with her arms held to her chest and holding the straps to the baby carried fastened to her back. Inside the carrier is her baby looking side wards with its arms and legs clinging to the mothers back. This is a early example of a Kamba mother and child figure, in good condition with a deep and old surface patina.
Estimated Period: Early 20th Century, around 1910.
