Skilfully forged from brass the exceptional size of this Ogba is indicative of the wearers higher rank in society. The surface on one side has been decorated with a rich array of finely engraved designs, consisting of circles, dots, lines and triangular formations. Traditionally restored with small pieces of metal and rivets, an indication of the importance placed on such a adornment.
