This wild sculptural creation depicts a chameleon with a ridged and arched body, and a sweeping circular tail that transforms with the flow of the sculpture into two bicycle wheels. Affixed to the top of the front 'wheel' is a white cockerel. This piece would have been worn as a ceremonial head crest mask, attached to the top of the dancer's head by holes located between the feet of the chameleon.
