This unusual fetish is a composition of two wrapped wooden figures depicting a male (the slightly larger figure) and a female. Attached to the back is an animal horn tucked inside the wrapping. A loose strand of tiny black glass beads decorates the piece. An interesting feature of this piece is the unusual features of the two carved heads, male and female, with their large ears, prominent flattened noses and square-shaped chins. These characteristics can be often seen in Mbugu sculpture.
