Collection of four 19th century bronze anklets/bangles. The flat arm cuffs are Gurunsi, the larger one has a snake decoration running down its length. The two other pieces with raised ridges are anklets and likely worn by the Kasere women of Ghana. Each of these anklets has bands of raised spiral decorations.
All are 19th century and came from one private French collection.
