This late 19th century chair has been carved from one piece of dense heavy wood. It has a deep and rich patina with an enclosed rounded support above the seat that is surrounded by an upright curved cut-out decorative feature. It has three supporting legs each with an upright stilt that adjoins to the base of the circular seat. The seat is narrow in size and the back support is upright and has been decorated with a series of engraved markings.
