Unusual Akan bronze gold weight of a 'fully armed' knot bird. The bird with its knotted wings is balancing on either wing a cannon with a small power keg sitting on its back tail. Such weights represented wisdom (the knot) and power combined.
Finely cast with good ago- 18th/19th Century.
