This chair displays a wonderful form, with three curved legs meeting below the seat and forming to a rough point at each end. The proportions of the seat are large, wide and flat and the shortened backrest is tiered in shape, with an attractive central circular cut-out feature. The surface is roughly cut, giving the chair an individual character, and exhibits a beautiful rich, dark patina - particularly on the seat and backrest.
This chair is all about character and sculpture.
